Kokkola City Library concentrates on providing access to the
information recources on the Internet, not on advice on technical
problems of network use. The library does not offer Internet
accounts for patrons. If you don´t have an e-mail, you can
use the Cable Book Library e-mail
form.
You can use Internet services free of charge in the main
library and Koivuhaka Library. In the main library there are
several Internet-PCs - both for adults, youth and children. The
PCs near the information desk (with Internet and word processing)
share a common printer. They are for adult use only. The main
library also has PCs with Internet access for youth and children.
If you want to use the above mentioned PCs you have to make an
appointment in advance at the information desk or by telephone
(06) 828 9561, 828 9734. If you are 10 minutes late
your appointment will automatically be used/reserved by other
libray clients.
There are several Internet PCs (three on the second floor and
six on the first floor), which can be used without an appointment
for 15 and 30 minutes.
Patrons using the Internet at the library should follow the
Netiquette. For further instructions please contact the library´s
staff.
